Conspirators!

Caesar must die, Caesar must die...

There's been a lot of conspiring going on this week from the looks of it. Basil has been plotting revenge and world domination:

Saffy has been plotting, ooh a nap, followed by a snuggle, maybe a snooze, and then a sneaky attack on that fluffy mouse that's been hanging around lately:

In other news, Saffy has not had a particularly good week:

Fear not, nothing serious! She's been spayed, so a routine operation and she's recovering well. The cone lasted about an hour before she managed to get one of her front legs in it too and then couldn't walk. We gave up.

You'll be pleased to hear Basil cheered up later on, after realising that revenge on this cruel world actually takes quite a lot of effort, and there may not be a ready supply of snacks.

Ooh you could be a model!

We've recently taken very excited possession of a shiny new camera, a proper little DSLR. It's fantastic. Here are Basil and Saffy engaged in a modelling competition...

Clearly Basil's exotic looks do give him the edge, I mean check out that stoic profile. However, I think Saffy should be commended for effort and getting more into the spirit of the thing with a variety of poses. Given that she wasn't bred for our looks (unlike some - looking at you big-B), she's a little stunner.

Let's call it a tie. Everybody wins!

Idiot Competition

Actually that title is probably a little harsh, it does sometimes seem like this is what Basil and Saffy have been engaged in.

Saffy's main hobby is getting into places she shouldn't be, or just getting in the way in general... oh, and chewing wires, she loves that:

She doesn't seem to have learnt anything from that time she fell in the loo before.

They both thought they'd have a go at sitting the Abel & Cole box (like, well done guys, we're meant to return that so other people can have their veg delivered in it, and now it's been catified):

Saffy is not too impressed with Basil's blue humour:
